Do Something

Too many people talk, some listen, very few do. Everyone has an opinion, everyone has the ability to speak their mind on anything, usually..at least in America we believe we can, but one thing we can all agree we have is our thoughts, in them our feelings/opinions. Great people, people with legacy, all formulated their ideas and beliefs into action, that is the difference between the talkers and the do-ers. Who are you?

The Best Advice

The best advice is the advice one can give to them self. No matter who you ask for an opinion, in the end no one understands your situation like you do. Go with your heart, and let everything play itself out. Mistakes will be made, but we are all better off in the long run. You should only look for advice when you really have no idea on what to do, but most of the time we look for advice with a decision already made in the back of our minds. Sometimes asking a friend for advice only confuses us even more, be wise about what and when you ask for advice. Your word is everything.

Opinion vs Fact

Many people get defensive when you share your opinion, especially on politics/religion. People are way too sensitive and need to learn to respect others opinions. If you can't respect an opinion, how can you expect someone to care about yours? People take opinions too literal, and have to understand they aren't facts. Almost nothing is complete fact, everything is simply an opinion, everyone should understand and respect that. We are all different and have different reasons for what we believe, we deserve the right to express our takes on any topic without being attacked. Listen, Reason, then Speak.

Truth Hurts

Sometimes it is much better to keep things to yourself. Honesty is the best policy, but sometimes honesty can fire back negative responses with bad timing. It's all about saying the "truth", but in the right way. We are all different, and respond to different things in different ways, we must acknowledge this when we communicate our personal issues to others. Often times, we tell the world about our personal frustrations as a way of venting, but in the end we regret making such a big deal of it and letting too many people in on "our issues". You cant take back things once you say them, so your word is everything. Watch what you say, and how you say it. The truth hurts, but it is what allows us all to grow and become better.

Legacy

We all chase happiness. Some get there, some don't. Some live satisfying lives, some more than others. Under the toughest circumstances, we are tested. Do we get up, do we fall? How much are we willing to fight to reach our goals? In the end, we all want to be remembered. We want to make an impact on our family, friends, the world, somehow, someway. If we don't do anything for humanity, what are we living for? Make an impact, bring out your gifts to the world. What will your story be when you are no longer here?

Just A Moment

Sometimes, life can take us on a roller coaster, and it feels good. We get lost in the good times and forget about what happened before. It can be disappointing when we realize that moments are only temporary and not a new hope of what is ahead. Nevertheless, we must enjoy these moments and hold on to them as long as we can. We live life for the moments that matter and that's all that really matters.

Money

What is it about money that makes the world go round? The dollar is the reason we work and many times the reason we live. Unfortunately, the world we live in is about who can earn the most. Currency gives us all a sense of power. Money cannot buy happiness or the finer things in life, but it can definitely eliminate your worries. As many say, it is the root of all evil, if you let it. I'm in no way a greedy person, but we can all agree money makes us all happy, at least for right now.

Coaches In Sports

Is it me, or are pro sports becoming more about the money than ever before? Recently Lane Kiffin agreed on a deal to become the head coach of USC football. This comes one season after leaving a Tennessee program, in which he promised to revive and make one of the nations best. Yeah, so much for that... If you say your going to do something, do it, and if somehow you cant, don't let it be because you quit. Lane Kiffin is a quitter and a liar, like many coaches in college football nowadays. What ever happened to loyalty and dignity? I guess money talks louder today.

Reason To Blog

A big reason why I began this site was to express myself to friends and to everyone else. I feel I have so much I want to share, so starting a blog was a perfect idea. Motivation

To accomplish anything in life you must be motivated. You can have all the tools in the world to reach your goals, but without the dedication you will never reach them. Its hard nowadays to stay motivated with all the distractions, and this is why many people fail. Remind yourself about the big picture and where you want to be, daily. What is Luck?

To me, there is no magical thing called "luck". Luck is simply a cool name for a good coincidence. If it is my "lucky" day, does that mean I am automatically more likely to continue experiencing good circumstances? I really don't think so..
